The Government,
under Republican & Democrat rule alike,
has been testing your freedoms.
I. Personal Freedoms
Abortion should be a decision between a woman and her doctors, not the government.
II. Lowering Taxes
Government should serve as a protector of personal freedoms, a lifeline for the
disadvantaged, and a shield for national defense, while respecting individual autonomy in all other aspects of life. As your Governor, I will commit to reducing unnecessary government spending and taxation.
III. No Governmental Involvement in Religion
Religion is a personal choice and should have no governmental control or involvement.
IV. Turning the Needle
The Libertarian Party has noble goals but was historically seen as too “extreme” by Democrat and Republican voters. I will deflect the curve from governmental control toward personal accountability without disrupting needed social programs.
V. Fix Florida's Broken Homeowner's Insurance
Less than 17% of Florida homeowner’s premiums are paid out to homeowners to repair damaged homes. I will not permit insurance lobbies, attorneys, or giant insurance companies to steal our homes with mortgage contracts that are unenforceable and unfair.
